17 new multinational headquarters in Panamá

The commission for multinational headquarters of businesses in Panama, approved the license of seven additional companies in December 2020, which join the ten companies that were established throughout the year.

The general director of the commission, Jeannete Díaz Granados, informed that the investments of the new companies ascend to US$12,5 million, adding that “All the companies have fulfilled the requirements disposed in the Law No. 41 of 2007, which regulates this special regime, that has allowed since its creation 160 companies that have believed in the country”.

The companies that will establish regional headquarters in Panama are dedicated to various sectors: food and beverage, assistance and financial services, consumer goods, engineering and construction, pharmaceuticals; and they come from Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, South America and the USA.
