During the visit of the president of Panama Juan Carlos Varela to the Arab country on February 26, with the Prince of Dubai Mohammed Bin Salman, as well as with other heads of states and business leaders, it was announced that the Chamber of Commerce of Dubai will open its commercial office in Panama.
This announcement coincided with the celebration of the forum, an event called “Investing in Panama” that aims to promote trade and the exchange of relations with the Emirates.
“We want medium and small companies to be encouraged to come to Panama, to interact with other companies that are there to share their experiences”, said the Panamanian president.
With respect to the Dubai-Panama route of the Emirates airline, he assured that there should a direct flight “soon” and they are hoping to define a stop that will reduce the flight hours.
