The objective of the commercial negotiations to which President Juan Carlos Varela participated in Dubai, with senior executives of large logistics companies, is to highlight Panama as a logistic HUB for investments of Middle East, Africa and India and thus its promote competitive advantages so that investors of these geographic areas are interested in investing in Panama.
These agreements will make it easier for entrepreneurs to establish their regional offices in Panama and distribute their products.
Another topic of great interest was that of the free zones, where the aim is to promote the development of a logistics project in the Pacific to add value to the port system. This would be a great opportunity for the country.
